- Assignment 1-Start Of Digi Media
:D After a short break from school, this is what we're expected to know.
Digital Media Fundamentals introduces various aspects of working with digital media.
Learning Goals (in order of increasing importance):
1. To learn a bit about digital media culture and theory;
2. To learn a lot about digital media modes of participation;
3. To learn how to use digital media creatively and effectively;
4. To learn how to use digital media collectively and collaboratively; and
5. To learn how to learn new tools quickly and independently.

our classmates were all back for the next subject that awaits us. Everyone were all quite chirpy and high and we were somehow excited though some did feel the Monday Blues. -.- Like me.
Yoke Ee, our subject teacher was quite interactive with us. Class started in an informal manner and this allowed us to share our views on different topics we touched on more comfortably.
Our lesson begin in a very comforting manner as Yoke touched much on Facebook which was most of everyone favourite. This was what to be expected too
1)Using Facebook as the platform,
you are to generate a buzz on something.
2)The 'something' could be anything that you care about. It can be real or imaginary.
Eg. If you are a huge fan of Michael Jackson and are greatly affected by his death, you could create a group or page as a tribute to him.
3)How you generate the buzz through Facebook is entirely up to you.
Eg. create an event, create a new group, create a cause or create a page.
You should consider the various ways available and their effectiveness, as well as how they will work for you.
4)The success of your assignment will also depend on how much hits or responses your 'something' received. In other words, you need to create something, and you also need to spread the word out and attract interest.
5)This assignment is due on Mon, July 6.
We will show some or all of your works in class, depending on time available.

I felt disturbed as I didnt know much about Facebook and we were given our very first assignment to create a group and make sure that it creates a 'buzz'. It will be hard but I thought much about it and decided to make my group ' Transfomers or Twilight'. It is difficult to make my group loud as I didnt have much friends in the account and I'm not sure how to go about promoting it. But Im going to try hard. :D
