- :D Field trip to 8Q Singapore Art Museum.
Purpose of the field trip is to expose you to other ways that digital media can be applied. Not just in web. But in installations as well. Installations are especially interesting and offer lots of exploratory opportunities for IMD students.
I wouldnt say that it was a wasted trip although I felt that I didnt connect with most of the things put up there. The only piece that I knew much of so is entitled ' Angst essen / eat fear '.
It is quite useful to what we're learning currently. There was photoshop and editting done in the short clip and it has shown clearly what the clip was conveying to it's viewers.
Im quite relieved that Singapore is a multi racial country and we do not look down on one another like what this clip has shown.
The main pieces was entitled ' last drop'. I assumed that it is because water is hard to get it back once it is gone and also, it is precious and therefore, it shows how important things are and once it's gone, it'll never be retrieved back. '
But of course, this is only my point of view, there is no right or wrong so I wouldnt mind hearing what the rest think about it. :D

:D Oh My God. I feel super ultra excited because... I just did my very first Photoshop all by myself. It don't look great though, hey but it is the effort right? :DDD HEE. There it is! Took me at least FEW HOURS to try figure what I wanted and pen my thoughts down. So here's what I got. Not really what I wanted. :l :D BUT im happy.
Tomorrow will be doing furthing editting in class. Need to ask abit of help for the changing of face. =( And also a bit of some error occured while in the process. =.=

I was to make coloured circles using Adobe illustrator. Looks easy but trust me, it's not as simple as you think it is. :l
Im getting use to Illustrator now though I still need some help from friends. Thank you. :D It's been another fruitful day in school.
I love the way all the colours are jumbled up. ;D Brings up the mood. Dont you think so too?

While trying to understand what is Twitter, it was no easy feat as there was alot of learning to be done.
Open a free twitter account, build a profile with your real name, and find and follow all members of digital media production class, including me. Use this account for class purposes only.
Use Twitter Help page for support.
Through Twitter search, find people who tweet about some of the topics or issues discussed in class so far. Follow who you want but certainly follow people who use digital media smartly and creatively. Be mindful of who and how many you follow. More is not better!
Compose at least one thick tweet.
Compose at least one aeoiu tweet.
Demo your work (3-5 minutes) in class on Thursday, July 2.
Your demo must include:
a) addressing one element of your profile
b) the way and ways you access twitter
c) a person or persons you added via your twitter search (other than classmates)

I had to admit that I really dislike using twitter as it was hard to use. The term of AEIOU tweet was hard to grasp as Im still quite unsure how to use it though it has been explained by my classmates. I had tried tweeting abit and hope that twitter can also help me through my Facebook group! (: Yay.

:D After a short break from school, this is what we're expected to know.
Digital Media Fundamentals introduces various aspects of working with digital media.

our classmates were all back for the next subject that awaits us. Everyone were all quite chirpy and high and we were somehow excited though some did feel the Monday Blues. -.- Like me.
Yoke Ee, our subject teacher was quite interactive with us. Class started in an informal manner and this allowed us to share our views on different topics we touched on more comfortably.
Our lesson begin in a very comforting manner as Yoke touched much on Facebook which was most of everyone favourite. This was what to be expected too

I felt disturbed as I didnt know much about Facebook and we were given our very first assignment to create a group and make sure that it creates a 'buzz'. It will be hard but I thought much about it and decided to make my group ' Transfomers or Twilight'. It is difficult to make my group loud as I didnt have much friends in the account and I'm not sure how to go about promoting it. But Im going to try hard. :D
